Are drugs rife in classical music?

Britney Spears & Kevin Federline Do Vegas!
K-Fed picked up an award for Father of the Year at club Prive and celebrated his win by partying with his entourage of 30 – including divorce lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan.
While her ex partied into the early hours, Britney spent a low-key evening sipping water with dad Jamie at the Cinevegas party at Palms Place before having an early night.
Coldplay Admit To Plagiarising Radiohead At Free London Show
Coldplay were in buoyant mood as they played a free show at London's Brixton Academy last night for Radio 1.
From the offset the band looked re-energised as they took about promoting their excellent new album 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends.'
After being introduced by Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq, behind a veil of darkness the band tore into instrumental opener 'Life In Technicolour', before current single 'Violet Hill' saw a wide-eyed Chris Martin bound about the stage in an almost cocky, self-assured manner.
They then harked back to 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' favourites 'Clocks' and 'In My Place', while before 'Viva La Vida', Martin explained that it was an anthem against losing and contextualised it with a joke he was told in Germany which went 'What do the English do when they win the world cup? They turn off their playstation.'
Clearly in a jovial mood, Martin joked before 'Vival La Vida' track 'Chinese Sleep Chant', “I know some of you have been complaining about the ticket prices; what can we say, we're money grabbing whores” - in reference to the free tickets.
Later as they were warming up 'God Put A Smile Upon Your Face', Martin enthused that it sounded like their “favourite” Radiohead song '2+2=5' and quipped: “Sorry we shouldn't be talking about plagiarism live on radio! Ignore that.”
Following the song, Martin gave his guitar to a lucky member of the audience and playfully said that it had been “passed down” through generations of his family.
The set picked up pace with a thumping rendition of 'Square One', while the rousing 'Trouble' (which included a Girls Aloud interlude), 'Lost!' and 'Strawberry Swing' tugged at the audience's heartstrings.
The biggest surprise of the night came when the foursome re-appeared for the first encore on the balcony armed only with acoustic instruments for a plaintive rendition. Martin then said “now for the biggest surprise of the night and something I thought I'd never see, our drummer Will Champion on vocals!”
Champion then sang a version of The Pogues' 'If I Should Fall From Grace' while still on the balcony.
After a cheesy dance remix of 'Talk' was played through the soundsystem, the band returned for a second encore. The best was saved until last with an epic 'Fix You' and a confetti-strewn 'Lovers In Japan' in front of a massive 'Viva La Vida' banner.

Kerry Katona checks into clinic
According to her publicist Max Clifford the star was readmitted to the clinic as part of her regular treatment for bi-polar disorder.
Clifford said: "Everything is good in terms of her marriage and career-wise."
"She suffers from bi-polar disorder. Some days she is down. There is nothing different at the moment."
Filming for Katona's MTV show 'Crazy in Love' has been "placed on hold this week", according to the television channel.
Katona is due to give birth to her fourth child in May.
Ex Emmerdale star wants Corrie role
The 60-year-old actress, who played the scheming Rosemary King during her time in the Dales, told Teletext that she could imagine being part of the 'Coronation Street' cast.
Thorson said: "I'd love to appear in 'Coronation Street'. It's my ambition. I've already worked out my storyline."
"I'd play an American who has a heart attack and gets cared for by Rita or Emily."
Corrie's Vera speaks about illness
The 68-year-old actress told ITV's 'Tonight' that she was told by doctors that she only had one third of her lung capacity left.
Dawn, who played Vera Duckworth in 'Coronation Street', recently quit the show due to ill health.
She said: "I used to go to Granada and I used to go in the dressing room, and I'd be really breathless before I even did anything."
"And I got that bad, at the end that instead of somebody knocking on the door and saying: 'It's your scene', I used to go on a scene earlier and sit on the Duckworths' set."
Dawn also said that she quit smoking after her diagnosis: "When you're addicted to smoking it's very hard to stop... I couldn't answer the phone unless I lit up."
The actress said that she regretted smoking around non-smokers: "I mean there are a lot of non-smokers in 'Coronation Street' that I have stood next to and smoked. Must have been awful mustn't it?"
Dawn's doctor Professor Ashley Woodcock said: "Liz came to me about five years ago really pretty desperate."
"At that point she could walk just a couple of yards... she was in a really bad way."
"Stopping her smoking was really critical and she did that... which has been great because she wouldn't be here now... if she hadn't stopped"
